The Smithfield Review publishes studies in the history of the region west of the Blue Ridge and is published annually, in the spring, by the Smithfield-Preston Foundation, Blacksburg, Virginia, in cooperation with Virginia Tech Libraries and the Department of History, Virginia Tech.
