(2017-02-10)Ruth Wallace and I offered this workshop to 12 classroom teachers and school administrators at the Virginia Children's Engineering Convention. We explained how teachers can work with 4-H agents in the classroom utilizing a variety of delivery modes. The workshop also included a hands-on element during which teachers worked through the 4-H Rockets to the Rescue program.

- Prince Edward 4-H Innovative Leadership AcademyBowen, J. R.; Walker, Martha A. (2016-02-09)Innovative Leadership Academy was a series of educational events for high school students. The Academy included four classroom sessions focusing on leadership, teamwork and communication. Participants also attended a Board of Supervisors meeting, a School Board meeting, and a special one-day leadership and communication seminar. They worked in teams to identify and prioritize issues facing youth in the community. They then developed strategies to address those issues and presented their strategies to the public during their graduation ceremony. Nine students participated.
