    These two murals reflect the collective experience of the attendees of Virginia Tech’s annual International Street Fair on April 22nd, 2018. Families, students, faculty, staff, and community members all contributed to their creation. We asked two simple questions: Where are you from? Where will you go? Responses provide a small insight into our community here at Virginia Tech. People are from a wide range of places including: Blacksburg VA, Sydney Australia, and Mumbai India, to name a few. And as you might expect, our community hopes to go to a wide variety of places too: Hong Kong, Santiago Chile, and Wakanda. Please spend some time exploring these maps and get to know your community just a little bit better! These murals were made possible through a partnership with Virginia Tech’s Studio72 LLC, Mozaiko LLC, and the University Libraries. Special thanks to Studio72 students who helped create the boards and hand lettered the questions. 2018/04/22

    Art installation originally built in Studio 72 and left for one week with a basic set of rules to guide the community. It was then removed and rebuilt in Newman Library. Studio 72 is a living-learning community of artists and makers open to all majors. This installation aims to showcase the variety of talent represented by these artists in order to illustrate that the arts live at Virginia Tech. 11/27/18 - 01/11/19
