A common theme was slight uptick in business travel as the country and globe continue to navigate their way through the COVID-19 pandemic. The current business traveler population is driven by the defense, technology, insurance, and healthcare industries. In addition, smaller corporations have been traveling opposed to larger companies.

    US hotels took first step backward in October

    October was the first month since April to see a decline in overall RevPar standings from September. Although it the numbers did not drop significantly, it remains a negative factor in an industry that is hoping to have a strong Q1 of 2021.
