- No tillage and crop rotation effects on soil aggregation and organic carbon in a Rhodic Ferralsol from southern BrazilMadari, B.; Machado, P. L. O.A.; Torres, E.; de Andrade, A. G.; Valencia, L. I. O. (Elsevier B.V., 2005)This paper discusses a study of aggregation in a clayey Brazilian soil under no tillage or conventional tillage (disc plowing and harrowing), with a forested soil for reference. The most significant differences between tillage practices were seen in the surface 5 cm of soil. NT had more aggregate stability, bigger proportion of large aggregates, greater total organic carbon, and more TOC in macroaggregates.
