Mike Gamble, Founder of Tourism Diversity Matters, realized the industry need for an organization that focuses on Diversity & Inclusion last year. Tourism Diversity Matters launched in February of 2021 and has been in the process of establishing their Apprenticeship partner young people with seasoned professionals who can guide them throughout the events and tourism industries. Additionally, Tourism Diversity Matters is in the process of streamlining a resource portal for local grassroots efforts across companies and organizations to enhance diversity.
