Abstract
Dean Tyler Walters allocated the 2021 VT OASF $150,000 to support article processing charges (APC) in open access journals. By March 15, 2021, those funds had been fully depleted but additional funds continued to be awarded to qualifying requests. In fiscal year 2021, the Libraries received 183 requests, of which 85% met the award criteria. The OASF awarded $197,249.43 for 156 articles.
