Abstract
Glass jar from an LD50 Demo Kit that contains red dyed vegetable oil to represent a liquid formulated pesticide. This jar visually represents an oral LD50 of 50mg/kg for a 55 lb child, which would have a signal word of Danger/Peligro. This LD50 toxicity level is categorized as Highly Toxic and Hazard Class I.
