dc.description.abstractRon Maxwell, director/producer/screenwriter of the soon-to-be-released Civil War epic "Gods and Generals," and James I. Robertson Jr., principal historical consultant for the movie and executive director of Virginia Tech's Virginia Center for Civil War Studies, will be available to members of the media on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 3 p.m. in the lobby of the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. At 7:30 p.m., Maxwell will present 30 minutes of film clips from the movie, discuss how and why he made it, and answer questions in the Commonwealth Ballroom of Squires Student Center on the Virginia Tech campus.en_US
