Étude sur la gestion des conflits liés aux aménagements pastoraux: Cas de la zone pastorale de Sidéradougou
Abstract
This article discusses how herders were attacked for letting their animals into a farmer's field. The cause of conflict was the loss of crops, but the basis of the conflict really came from frustration of the sedentary farmers with the coming of the herders. The lessons in this article are that everyone needs to be brought into decision making on how local lands are allocated.
