This presentation is about working with scientists from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives to try to address complex problems holistically. The ultimate objective of the project is to create conditions for locally empowered actors to improve their livelihoods in an environmentally sustainable fashion. This presentation discusses the organizing framework that is meaningful across disciplines, providing a motivating frame of reference for collaborative research and action.
