Summarizing the theme of sustainability in watershed and ecosystem management, Chapter 20 discusses the use of the future visioning methodology to craft long term goals for the management and development of the Cotacachi region. This process included collaboration with people of all ages and genders, producing a range of results in negotiating a future vision.
