Abstract
In this report, the author -whose mother migrated from Mexico with a sixth-grade education, grew up in Los Angeles and was the first in her family to graduate from college-, underscored the strength of the Hispanic community and encouraged to fight harder than ever for educational, economic and political opportunity and social justice.
