General view of upper tier of plots. Irrigated plot to right; non-irrigated at left. Note difference in height and density of stand. Just prior to fourth cutting. Irrigated August 8-9 1.4 inches, August 14-15 1.4 inches, August 27-29 1.4 inches, September 9-10 1.4 inches, total 5.6 inches. Precipitation approximately 0.9 inch.
