This operational plan for the IT organization provides a detailed set of goals, initiatives, and tasks to realize the seven pillars of the IT strategic plan and to support the university’s long-range plan, “A Plan for a New Horizon – Envisioning Virginia Tech 2012-2018.” The content of this plan was collaboratively developed across the entire IT organization over the past year. The Operational Plan is designed to serve as a living bridge between the IT Strategic Plan and the IT Annual Report, creating a logical and traceable flow among the three documents.
