Wolf Habitat Fund

Abstract

In 1992 the Defenders of Wildlife established a Wolf Habitat fund which would award $5,000 to landowners who allowed wolves to raise young on their land. It appears the program received little participation, as only 2 payments were made in 1994 and 1995. No other information was available to determine if the project is ongoing or has been discontinued.
