Abstract
This report aims to inform the current role of HSIs within the scope of higher education. It focuses on the influences and challenges of Latino/a students at HSIs and derive data from interviews that the author has conducted across Latino/a students who have attended HSIs located in California’s Central Valley. In this report, the author analyzes the current literature in the hopes of understanding the influences and challenges in order to improve the current SPONSORED BY resources offered to future Latino/a students.
