This paper discusses a study of aggregation in a clayey Brazilian soil under no tillage or conventional tillage (disc plowing and harrowing), with a forested soil for reference. The most significant differences between tillage practices were seen in the surface 5 cm of soil. NT had more aggregate stability, bigger proportion of large aggregates, greater total organic carbon, and more TOC in macroaggregates.en
