dc.description.abstract	The U.S. State Department has issued it's first U.S. passport with the gender designated as "X" making a third gender option available to nonbinary, intersex, and non-gender-conforming applicants. The Human Rights Campaign estimates that there could be up to 8.5 million Americans that choose use this designation.	en
