Something not often realized is that education—particularly higher education—is a major American export. If new border controls prevent the entry of foreign students, or simply makes them feel unwelcome so they go elsewhere, American jobs and American students pay the price. In this context, this report explains how sealing the border could block one of America’s crucial exports: Education.en
