Videos from Calm Water Tests on Stepped Planing Hulls with forward and aft swept steps are provided in the folders below. The folder are named following: "Sweep angle-bottom loading-LCG location". Folder "30-55-12" contains videos of Model 30 at a bottom loading of 5.5 and a non-dimensional LCG location of 12%. Top and side views are provided to allow interpretation of wetted areas on the afterbody and measurement of wetted lengths.
The plexiglass on the models contain major stripes at 2" intervals (with zero at the transom) and minor marks at 1" intervals. The buttock stripes are located at 1/8,1/4, and 3/8 of the beam (measured to the inner chine) from the keel.
