The Environmental Progress American Airlines Has Made

American Airlines issued it's annual Environment, Social, and Governance report for 2020 and it showed that after a year of limited flying and low passenger numbers that the airline has met and exceeded its environmental goals. After travel plummeted in March of 2020 the airline far exceeded its fuel-efficiency savings goal of 1.5%, instead realizing a 27% fuel efficiency decrease.
