PCMA Survey on Event-Cancellation Insurance Shows Gaps

This article shares the survey result of event organizers on event cancellation insurance this year. Most respondents answered they had to cancel their organizations(mostly association)' meeting because of travel restrictions. Surprisingly, one-quarter of respondents said they didn't get an event cancellation insurance. You can cover your lost revenue through insurance but the expense is not covered. Though those who got insurance could secure their revenue from it so they can provide their substitute program to attendees for free, still they need to know they can get insurance for the next event since it will be harder to purchase premium from now on. For these reasons, it is getting important for organizers how they will organize their event for the next year in order to gain their expected revenue withour the insurance coverage.
