Sustainability 2.0: The conversation travel tech cannot ignore in the new normal

Abstract

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has sent the travel and tourism industries to it's knees, it is also giving the industry a never before seen opportunity to re-think building back with sustainability at the forefront. The travel and tourism industry has made gains within the past two years, but it must continue to build on sustainability measures as it starts to welcome guests back to travel. Research done by RateGain argues that sustainability will drive business and rebuilding an industry focused on sustainability is no longer a "nice to have", but a necessity.
