Understanding the effects of global change on rangelands and improved pastures: An implementation plan for international research

Global Change in Terrestrial Ecosystems (GCTE) is a Core Project of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Program on the determinants and impacts of global change. One task within GCTE is entitled Global Change Impacts on Pastures and Rangelands, and Associated Animal Production. This paper describes how this Task has been developed and invites involvement in it.
