dc.descriptionFields + Array was a Virginia Tech Center for the Arts OpenLab project first installed in the Ruth C. Horton Gallery (1st floor) of the Moss Arts Center, June 14 through July 27, 2014. In the gallery installation, pieces of sheer cloth hung from the ceiling above the concrete cylinders. The cylinders were installed on Burchard Plaza after the gallery exhibition ended. A second version was later made for the School of Architecture + Design reception during the 50th anniversary of the College of Architecture and Urban Studies.en
