Abstract
Robert J. Bodnar, University Distinguished Professor of Geosciences in Virginia Tech's College of Science, has been awarded the Silver Medal of the Society of Economic Geologists. Bodnar, of Blacksburg, was recognized for performance of unusually original work in the earth sciences.
