Abstract
This case study examines drone warfare which shows how unmanned aerial vehicles affect human beings and their strategic implications in present-day conflicts. After 9/11 the United States deployed drones during the Obama administration and in current conflicts such as the Russo-Ukrainian War and Gaza the study examines how drones that provide precision and low-risk operations generate substantial ethical issues. The study explains how surveillance and signature strikes performed by drones create widespread anxiety and trauma which makes civilians living in drone-patrolled areas feel constantly afraid. The investigation explains how state and non-state actors currently utilize drones to perform surveillance tasks and conduct combat operations and distribute media content. Through a study of technological imbalances and psychological operations this case study examines how drone utilization transforms modern warfare and the protection of noncombatants and governmental control in our current digital society. The study urges readers to think critically about drone-related psychological harm and the worldwide outcomes of drone technology becoming accessible to everyone.
