dc.description.abstract	VT Libraries Dean Tyler Walters initially allocated the 2016 OASF $60,000. As funds were awarded to support article processing charges (APC) in open access journals and the OASF was depleted, Scholarly Communication added $6,000 from salary savings and Dean Walters added $20,000. The OASF had a total allocation of $86,000. It received 83 requests for $145,275 in APCs. $85,140 was awarded to support APCs for 63 articles (75% of requests).	en
