Virginia Tech Authors Recognition Event

Each year, the University Libraries hosts the VT Authors Recognition event to celebrate those at the university who have published books in the past year. Sponsored by the University Libraries, in partnership with the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Virginia Tech’s Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the event honors Virginia Tech authors’ academic contributions. We displayed books that have been published, celebrated the authors in our community, listened to remarks by the sponsors, and enjoyed refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
