Higher Education Minority Retention Report: A Review of Enrollment, Retention and Policies of Selected South Carolina Higher Education Institutions

Abstract

In this report, the South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs staff has researched data and obtained information on programs, policies, enrollment and retention data from the SC Commission on Higher Education. A sampling of enrollment and retention data, programs, and policies from a sampling of institutions across the State of South Carolina, have been analyzed in this report to determine if there is an issue with retention among minority students at higher education institutions.
