dc.description.abstractVermicomposting has been promoted in the Philippines as a technology to improve soil fertility, manage solid waste and safeguard health. This chapter describes the adoption of this technology by female farmers in the Philippines. It follows ten women farmers who adopt vermicomposting in order to identify successes and challenges in vermicomposting.en
