dc.description.abstract	Sookyung Choi of Gyeongsang University, Korea, and Stephen Olsen, professor of physics at the University of Hawaii, members of an international team of researchers at the High Energy Accelerator Organization (KEK) in Tsukuba, Japan, have announced the discovery of a new and unusual sub-atomic particle. One member of that team is Leo Piilonen of Blacksburg, professor of physics in the College of Science at Virginia Tech.	en
