Aids for Unit Planning on the Appalachian National Forests

This report summarizes the results of studies conducted in response to a cooperative agreement between the Southern Region, U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Forestry and Forest Products, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. The objective of the agreement was to improve National Forest management planning techniques. The agreement covered the period July 1, 1973 to June 30, 1975.
