This webpage is based on the IFAD poverty report of 2001 and it stresses the importance of the inclusion of women in natural resource management. The exclusion of women has negative impacts on efficiency and effectiveness. When men are trained to perform activities that usually are performed by women, it has an impact on productivity. Even though in some places it is difficult to integrate women into the natural resources management organizations, there has been some successes establishing women's committees.en
