Abstract
General view of stubble mulch plot prepared and planted with IHC Experimental Mulch Corn Planter. This machine was tested thru cooperation of the Agricultural Engineering Division of TVA and the International Harvester Company. Regrowth of perennial sod, inability to prepare an adequate seed bed and other factors made this machine unadaptable to Virginia conditions.
