dc.description.abstract | In concluding the SANREM Andes research, Chapter 21 summarizes the key themes of over a decade of work in the Cotacachi region. This includes discussion of projects including the turnover of SANREM climate and agricultural data, water systems research, the recording and preservation of Cotacachi folklore, participatory modeling of the watershed, in situ conservation, and education and scholarship projects. These are framed within a general discussion of the strengths and trade offs of participatory research in Cotacachi. | en |
