dc.description.abstract	The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation is granting a $20 million endowment to Howard University in Washington, D.C. to establish the Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership. This comes following the passing of Marriott's President & CEO, Arne Sorenson, who was a champion of diversity throughout the hospitality industry. Marriott also announced it will donate $1 million towards the newly founded Arne M. Sorenson Hospitality Fund. The Marriott Family Foundation will collaborate with Howard University to create a world-class program focusing on creating access to top hospitality executives and industry leaders.	en
