In an effort to replace five gates at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, DFW and American Airlines reached an agreement that would result in the gates being constructed away from the terminal itself with pre-fabricated gate structures. The project will increase the current gate area of 72,000 sq ft, to 80,000 sq ft. The partially finished product weighs 900,000 lbs.en
