dc.description.abstractGlass jars from an LD50 Demo Kit that contains red dyed vegetable oil to represent a liquid formulated pesticide. These jars visually represent oral LD50 quantities for a 160 lb adult. The jar on the left has an LD50 of 5000mg/kg which would have a signal word of Caution and is categorized as Slightly Toxic and Hazard Class III. The jar in the middle has an LD50 of 500mg/kg which would have a signal word of Warning/Aviso and is categorized as Moderately Toxic and Hazard Class II. The jar on the right has an LD50 of 50mg/kg which would have a signal word of Danger/Peligro and is categorized as Highly Toxic and Hazard Class I.en
