Third-quarter report indicates significant increase in research awards

Abstract

This year, the Office of the Vice President for Research at Virginia Tech began to report sponsored program activity on a quarterly basis. As it happens, the news is good. With the fiscal year nine months over, research awards are up 34.5 percent compared to the same period a year ago.
