Abstract
This newsletter describes remote sensing and the potential benefits of clear maps and images for rural residents. Remote sensing can help landscapers in rural sub-Saharan Africa design more sustainable development plans. With this technology, there is potential to slow down rural exodus and monitor land processes and vegetation in rural Africa, which can improve the agricultural landscape.
