dc.description.abstractAs excess phosphorus continues to be imported onto farms and soil tests phosphorus continues to increase, soil test concentrations will approach the regulated upper soil test threshold limits where not more phosphorus can be applied. No more phosphorus applications mean no further manure applications. Therefore, addressing the farm mass balance of phosphorus is essential to the long term sustainability of animal farming operations.en
