Abstract
This article focuses on how farmers learn about new technologies since the adoption of a new technology is a central feature of the transformation of farming systems. There are many possible sources to learn about new technologies such as from other farmers, the extension service, the media, or researchers. The authors focus on how pineapple farmers in Ghana learn in a way that contradicts much of the existing work on this topic.
