Feed the Future: Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index

This report discusses the Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) which is a measurement of their empowerment, agency, and inclusion in the agricultural sector. Its purpose is to identify constraints and increase understanding between women, agriculture, empowerment, and food security. In turn, this will help understand which women are disempowered and how their autonomy and decision-making can be addressed in order to reach gender equity in production, access to resources, income, leadership, and workload.
