| dc.description.abstract | This paper covers the development of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department's selection process for District Maintenance activities. Communication between the District offices and the Asset Management Section has caused project selection to evolve from an opinion based process into a data driven procedure. Data collection and processing technology has played a major role in the success of Asset Management's Pavement Management System and has resulted in pavement condition information becoming available throughout the Department. | en |
