Abstract

In 2016, Halifax County, with the support of its county partners including the Halifax Farm Bureau, commissioned the Virginia Tech Office of Economic Development (OED) to assist in the development of a Strategic Plan for Agriculture and Forestry for Halifax County. The purpose of this plan is to support this vital industry sector by leveraging existing assets and highlighting opportunities for the future.
