Abstract

This document examines injuries to plants caused by herbicide residues, in particular, those synthetic auxins that inhibit plant growth. These chemicals may persist in soil, grass clippings, straw, and green manures. Damage can also be caused by the drifting of the herbicide to non-target plants. This document also discusses the importance of knowing the management history of a crop, including hay.
