dc.description.abstract | This document, published by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), supports the Cities Feeding People (CFP) Program Initiative and serves as a resource for the integration of gender issues and analysis in urban agriculture research. The first section presents tools for incorporating gender methodology throughout a research project and is divided into three main sections: Proposal; Data Collection, Interpretation and Analysis; and Monitoring and Evaluation. The second section provides contact information for experts and persons involved with gender research. The final section is an annotated bibliography and brief review of literature on gender and agricultural research. It serves as a reference for researchers seeking to understand and integrate gender dynamics and issues into their research more completely. | en |
