Abstract

This article examines the minimum amount of data that should be collected to track changes in soil quality in the transfer of conservation agriculture technologies from researchers to farmers through a combination of treatment descriptions and chemical soil quality indicators. Through the collection and compilation of this minimum data set on farm trials, the researchers were able to discern a significant positive difference in soil quality from conservation agriculture to conventional agriculture practices.
